Summary
Manages a team of intermediate or experienced Distribution Channel Management professionals. Leads distribution channel management activities and ensures operational plans and objectives are met. Responsible for making significant improvements to processes and standards in order to enhance performance of distribution channel management team.
Job Description
- Ensure the establishment and development of professional relationships with distribution and channel management teams to understand and meet the customers needs within the bounds of contracted scope.
- Responsible for coordinating the business development activities for distribution and channel management teams to support the business strategy defined by leadership.
- Analyzes and reviews bid opportunities, prepares bid responses, participates in negotiating with potential customers and maintains customer relationships to win projects.
- Proactively identifies potential opportunities with distribution and channel management teams, discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services in order to create new client base and increase sales.
- Creates new business proposals for distribution and channel management teams, identifies value, and addresses resistance in order to develop business.
- Supports the management team representative on distribution and channel management. Maintain personal long-term customer relationships to influence existing and future opportunities.
Minimum Requirements
Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects and tactics within one work area.
Has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience
OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
