Summary

Our client is seeking a Satellite Sales Manager to focus on sales of satellite products and services targeting the Maritime market, both locally in Singapore and overseas. This role involves account management of direct and channel customers, providing quotations, and driving promotions to accelerate adoption.

Job Descriptions

  • Drive sales of satellite products and services in the Maritime market for local and overseas accounts.
  • Manage direct and channel customers, providing quotations, explaining value propositions, and organizing calls to understand customer requirements.
  • Hunt for new opportunities in both local maritime companies and overseas partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to formulate value propositions and product positioning.
  • Execute lead generation activities and promotions to drive awareness.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with complementary technology and marketing partners.
  • Stay abreast of key trends in the Maritime industry and provide meaningful insights.
  • Possess strong critical reasoning skills and provide well-reasoned critiques and suggestions.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the Telco/ICT industry, preferably with technology sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to formulate and communicate value propositions effectively.
  • Customer-oriented personality with strong teamwork, work ethic, and results orientation.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and positive attitude, with strong critical thinking skills.
  • Meticulous, responsible, and strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Cultivate trust and credibility with peers and maintain strong working relationships at all levels of the organization.
