Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience designing, deploying, and managing cloud environments on AWS/Azure/GCP. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a key role in the success of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, availability, performance, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud-based infrastructure for various applications and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement cloud-based solutions.
- Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) for cloud infrastructure deployment.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure costs and performance.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in the design and implementation of cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment.
- Stay current with industry trends, making recommendations as needed to help the company excel with cloud technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing technologies and cloud architecture patterns.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
