Your role as a Compliance Officer shall be to assist the management in the following:
Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance manual in line with MAS Internal Control
- Maintain monitoring process and onboarding process within MAS regulation and guidelines
- Maintain risk-based approach to perform account opening
- Review customer account opening documents
- Conduct AML/CFT screening of existing and potential customers
- Assist in Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment for the company according to MAS Notice FAA-N06 standards
- Apply risk-based approach to perform on-going AML/CFT monitoring of customers’ transactions
- Keep abreast of regulations and guidelines promulgated by MAS
- Response to queries from MAS
- Regular MAS reporting
Requirements:
- 1 to 3 years relevant working experience on compliance in the financial industry
- Degree in Business, Law or a related field
- Experience of dealing with regulators and industry bodies such as the MAS, SGX will be an added advantage
- Good communication skill (both written and spoken) in English and Chinese in order to co-ordinate with both English and Chinese speaking internal and external parties
- Ability to analyse problems and deliver effective solutions in a timely manner
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
