Job Responsibilities:
- Identify changes in regulations which may impact Global Markets’ compliance policies and procedures
- Identify potential risks and propose compliance controls to manage and mitigate risks to provide advisory and support to global market business.
- Ensure proper documentation and updating of compliance policies and procedures and provide training on new regulations and policies
- First point of contact for internal, external auditors and regulators.
- Reporting to HO on status of market compliance initiatives
- Implementation of Head Office rules and controls
- Review AGMD departments’ activities to identify methods to improve regulatory compliance and propose recommendations
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in market compliance
- Minimum 5 years experience working in financial sector
- Strong knowledge in, both local and international/extra-territorial regulations
- Ability to manage stakeholders and provide advisory to support departments in Global Markets
- Familiar with Global Markets products and services
- Strong communication skills with ability to influence others and embed frameworks, processes, and recommendations.
- Proficient with Microsoft 365.
