Description:
- Ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and annual financial reporting of full set accounts including AP, AR, Cash & Bank, Fixed Assets, Inventory and GL, reconciliation, etc. in compliance with SFRS and company requirements
- Monitor AR & AP and follow up on payment status
- Filing of monthly GST return
- Conduct monthly stock-taking and prepare report of inventory status
- Process purchase orders and prepare invoices and/or delivery orders for local and overseas customers
- Internal coordination with purchasing, sales and logistics team to track shipment status and update customers
- Ensure proper documentation of damaged/defective items received from suppliers, and follow up with suppliers for claims
- Liaise with auditor and tax agent in preparation of financial statements and tax computation
- Filing and updating of administrative records
- Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting or equivalent with min 2 years of relevant accounting experiences
- Preferably with working experience/knowledge of Singapore GST and Corporate Tax
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel/Office, working knowledge of SAP B1 and familiarity with import/export operations are advantageous
- Ability to work, deliver & meet deadlines independently
- Analytical, meticulous, systematic and process oriented
- Self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills
