Job Description:
- Supervise to ensure smooth and optimum plant GMP performance to meet highest GMP target and compliance.
- Responsible for effectively implementing the cleaning and sanitization of processing equipment, utensils, and the entire plant environment.
- Responsible for the development and execution of the sanitation program.
- Strive for continuous improvement by analyzing sanitation performance metrics, determining root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions to meet safety and product quality standards.
- Manage and supervise the general running of the group of plant cleaners which is related to their hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
- Maintaining the Plant’s highest GMP compliance and ensuring audit readiness.
- Plan, effectively engage, communicate, and provide direction on all sanitation-related activities in all quality, safety, health, employee relations, operations, and maintenance programs.
- Run the master sanitation schedule by establishing priorities, scheduling, assigning work and communicating with sanitation staff and key stakeholders frequently and regularly to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on time.
- Organize and participate in GMP inspection and close out the gaps or finding within the necessary timeframes reference to GMP standards.
- Monitor, enforce and comply with the site and production procedures so that plant housekeeping, cGMP, quality, safety, occupational hygiene and environmental protection requirements are met.
- Ensure that resources, materials, and equipment are available.
- Update the sanitation standard operating procedures and verify compliance by front line employees.
- Create PRs and stage materials as needed in SAP.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year of related work experience and supervisory experience.
- Experience in food plant sanitation process.
- Experience in GMP and a culture of People and Food safety.
- In depth knowledge and leadership experience in a cGMP production environment.
- Experience in dealing with non-conformances and running continuous improvement programs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with SAP.
- Knowledge of industry related quality systems and inspection programs, cleaning systems and chemicals.
- Knowledge of the sanitation process, cleaning chemistry, chemical storage, handling and dispensing systems and sanitary design principles.
- Effective organization skills, which includes housekeeping skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in participating in audits and fronting topics to auditors would be advantageous.
