Responsibility:
As a Carpenter in this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong carpentry background, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Job Description:
* Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, shelves, and staircases, using woodworking tools and equipment.
* Interpret and follow blueprints, sketches, and design specifications to ensure accurate and precise construction and installation of carpentry projects.
* Select appropriate materials for projects, considering factors such as cost, durability, and aesthetics, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
* Take accurate measurements and layout markings on materials, ensuring proper dimensions and alignment during construction and installation.
* Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment, and compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with other construction workers, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to project specifications.
* Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met and make any necessary adjustments or repairs as required.
* Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction or installation, such as material shortages, design flaws, or unforeseen obstacles.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked, and submit reports as required by project management.
* Must be able to carry 20KG or above of furniture.
* Assist in performing other temporary operational duties when needed.
* Able to work rotate shift, weekend and public holiday.

Requirement:
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience and have experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Must possess at least higher Education/ Diploma in any field.
• Strong leadership skills and management competencies.
• Strategic & critical thinking as well as decision-making and negotiation skills.
• Able to adapt, prioritize, exercise initiative, manage pressure, multi task and work independently.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, including communication and interpersonal skills to deal with a diverse spectrum of people.
• Time management/ meticulous and mature in work.
