Job Title: Restaurant Manager


Reports to: General Manager or Executive Chef


Job Summary:


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Restaurant Manager to lead our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our customers. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including food quality, customer service, staff management, and financial performance.


Key Responsibilities:


- Manage and train restaurant staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff

- Ensure high-quality food and beverage presentation and service

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and employees

- Control labor costs, inventory, and cash handling

- Develop and implement marketing and promotional strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement

- Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize menu offerings and pricing

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

- Manage conflicts and customer complaints in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff

- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction ratings


Requirements:


- 3+ years of restaurant management experience

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

- Basic math skills and ability to manage financial data

- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
