Job Title: Restaurant Supervisor


Reports to: Assistant Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Manager


Job Summary:


A individual skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional customer experiences. The Restaurant Supervisor will lead the team, control costs, and drive sales growth while supporting the management team.


Key Responsibilities:


- Supervise and train staff, including servers, bartenders, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff

- Manage floor operations during shifts, ensuring efficient service and quality control

- Maintain high standards of customer service, resolving issues promptly

- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and controlling labor costs

- Support menu planning, food quality control, and presentation standards

- Assist with scheduling, payroll, and employee relations

- Analyze sales data and provide insights to inform menu and promotional decisions

- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements

- Participate in marketing and promotional activities to drive sales and customer engagement

- Collaborate with the culinary team on menu development and specials

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and employees


Requirements:


- 1-2 years of restaurant supervisory experience

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures

- Basic math skills and ability to manage financial data

- Proficiency in restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems

- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred
