Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare a wide range of authentic Indian dishes, including both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options
2. Specialize in curry preparation and tandoor cooking techniques
3. Specialize in veg and non-vegetarian Biryani
4. Manage and oversee all kitchen operations, including staff supervision and training
5. Create and update menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
6. Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards
7. Manage inventory, place orders, and control food costs
8. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to improve overall dining experience
9. Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
10. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Requirements:
1. 4-5 years of experience as an Indian chef, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
2. Profound knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations
3. Expertise in vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian cooking
4. Mastery of tandoor cooking techniques
5. Strong leadership and team management skills
6. Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi or other Indian languages is a plus
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
8. Familiarity with kitchen management software and inventory systems
9. Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
10. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
