We are seeking a skilled Bread Baker Chef to join our team in preparing high-quality baked goods for our customers. This role involves creating recipes, managing ingredient orders, and coordinating baking schedules to ensure a consistent supply of fresh breads.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of bakers and bakery staff.
- Develop and refine recipes for breads and baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area according to health and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as necessary.
- Minimize wastage and spoilage of ingredients and finished products.
- Introduce new products and variations to expand our bakery offerings.
- Prepare daily production of breads and other baked goods.
- Work effectively in a bakery or kitchen environment.
- Demonstrate a passion for baking with innovative ideas, contributing as a proactive team player.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including daily sales transactions and reporting.
Requirements:
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in a bakery or kitchen setting, with a focus on bread baking.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards.
- Ability to manage inventory and order supplies efficiently.
- Creative and enthusiastic about baking, with the ability to work collaboratively.
- 6 days work per week (8 hours a day). Sunday off.
