Our client is looking for trainers/ facilitators/ subject matter experts/ professionals who have background related to the healthcare setting, especially in Eldercare. Prior experience in conducting training is preferred.
Core responsibilities:
· Able to facilitate & deliver competency-based training in the topic of Caregiving for the Elderly, Critically Ill and/or Persons with Dementia.
· Must be a subject matter expert and an excellent facilitator with effective communication skills to encourage full participation, promote mutual understanding and build competencies.
· You will be amongst an exclusive group of professionals who are authorised to deliver competency-based training.
· Course contents related to Elderly care, Chronically Ill and/or Dementia will be provided, for enhancement where necessary
· Engagement is based on scheduled dates of the course, with minimum 20 pax registered. Fees depend on class size and experience.
Mode of Facilitation/ Training:
Physical or Hybrid (physical classroom training with some virtual participants)
Fees for conducting training/ engagement:
SGD50/hr – SGD70/hr (depending on experience & class size)
Job Descriptions:
• Deliver 1-day workshops for Caregivers to Care-Recipients. Caregivers may range from family, relatives, friends and even migrant domestics workers related to the Care-Recipients.
• Engage and interact with a large group of participants in a virtual or face-to-face setting
• Equip participants with the skillset and knowledge to take charge of caregiving
• Facilitate to create supportive leaders in the community and encourage a more inclusive environment
Job Requirements
• A good Diploma or Degree in Medicine/ Nursing/ Gerontology/ Counselling/ Psychology disciplines from a recognised University or equivalent professional qualification related to Eldercare
• Minimum 1-year practical industry experience or work experience related in the field of healthcare/ caregiving
• Strong track record in programme development, adult training and/or high degree of drive and passion for training.
• Excellent communication skills to encourage full participation
• Technology savvy and comfortable to facilitate and deliver training in hybrid (physical & virtual) settings
Jobs specifications that could be an added advantage
• Proficient and able to deliver the course in English and other local languages such as Mandarin/ Bahasa Melayu/ Tamil
• Full ACTA or DACE certification
• Experience in WSQ content delivery (WSQ courseware development)
