Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate company projects, including Quantity Surveyor (QS) work, project budgeting, Variation Order Requests (VORs), drawing copies, meetings, field surveys, on-site installations, material transportation, technical support, labor management, and project completion.
- Ensure smooth project flow from initiation to completion.
- Schedule, plan, forecast, resource, and oversee all technical activities to ensure accurate and high-quality project delivery from inception through to conclusion.
- Interpret project plans and specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Review drawings and extract quantities as required.
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, layout drawings, shop drawings, and electrical line diagrams.
- Conduct regular meetings with customers to clarify requirements and ensure timely responses.
- Manage project payment requests and invoices.
- Monitor project progress and work schedules.
- Maintain control over all project documents and submissions.
- Monitor manufacturing and production progress.
- Maintain and update project records accurately.
- Assist the project team with documentation and coordinate site safety measures.
- Record and report project progress and work status.
- Prepare and distribute project closeout documents, as-built drawings, and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) manuals to owners upon project completion.
- Organize and maintain document storage, ensuring proper digital archiving of company documents, records, and reports in their respective folders within the computer system.
- Input data into company software systems accurately.
- Monitor and respond to customer emails promptly.
- Provide technical support as needed.
- Assist in the preparation of ISO documents.
- Coordinate with external agencies such as SETSCO, STS, and PSB as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, ideally within the construction or engineering sector.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software applications for drafting and technical drawings.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Knowledge of ISO standards and experience in document control is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing effectively to project success.
