Position Summary
The Executive, Community Engagement (Business Development) should be an enthusiastic candidate with a strong commitment to community engagement and Business Development. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, a proven track record in managing fundraising initiatives and experience in donor cultivation and stewardship. Strong organizational abilities and the capability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.

Job Description
- Drive the development of new charity merchandise including sourcing and procurement
- Conduct market research, and identify new market opportunities and customer needs for charity merchandise
- Develop and implement outreach, marketing and sales strategies in B2B and B2C channels
- Develop and produce relevant marketing collaterals, and work across various teams to engage different stakeholders.
- Work closely with MarCom team to manage content creation for website and social media to increase visibility of merchandise and engagement of customers and donors
- Organise and attend events to create greater awareness and visibility such as school talks, conferences, seminars, receptions, road shows and exhibitions
- Contribute to the development of the overarching marketing plans and strategies
- Support fundraising and sponsorship especially in areas of individual and corporate giving
- Provide regular and ad-hoc reports to supervisor and Executive Director
- Perform any specific projects provided by supervisor and Executive Director from time to time
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor Degree, proficient in design, familiar with Canva or other design applications.
- At least 2 years of related work experience
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
