Roles & Responsibilities
- The Project Manager is responsible for making decisions that ensure the quality and timeliness of construction deliverables by overseeing onsite operations teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the Senior Project Manager in managing project engineering of electrical systems, including planning and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with the Senior Project Manager to ensure project progress meets submission deadlines and schedules, including coordinating activities and resolving problems.
- Manage the work activities and performance of subcontractors, supervisors, and workers, and liaise with clients, relevant authorities, and consultants to resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including clients, management, and team members.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Maintain quality standards, conduct site inspections, and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Prepare and update all site reports, monitor, and report project progress.
- Conduct safety compliance checks and risk assessments.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical works.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Knowledge of project management software and tools.
- Experience with electrical works, Low Voltage (LV) switchgear, distribution boards, cable selection, electrical single-line drawings, cable containment systems, and lighting fixtures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate project documentation.
