Responsibilities:
- Based in Japan (8 Months).
- Oversee and manage construction progress to ensure timely completion.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of scheduling and technical coordination of construction works, liaising with government agencies, statutory boards, and stakeholders.
- Work closely with clients and consultants to effectively resolve project issues and manage expectations.
- Ensure subcontractors' work quality meets company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Singaporean and site/company safety standards.
- Supervise daily site activities and monitor construction progress, reporting directly to the Project Director.
- Resolve technical and construction-related issues promptly.
- Manage and monitor construction progress to ensure project completion within schedule.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of the project, including off-site and on-site fabrication and construction of structures.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the events or construction sector.
- Proficient in basic Japanese language.
- Experience in construction management is required.
- Proven track record in managing projects involving consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in negotiation.
- Team player with leadership qualities.
- Knowledge or experience in structural steel and construction management processes, means, and methods will be an added advantage.
