Accounts Executive

Position Objective

Overall responsibility of providing day-to-day accounting operational support and control in line with internal and external requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full set of accounts for the company.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
  • Handle intercompany billings and transactions.
  • Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
  • Input and process daily bank transactions.
  • Handle staff claims.
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany confirmations.
  • Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
  • Prepare and submit GST reports.
  • Prepare schedules and reports for yearly audit and tax purposes.
  • Liaise with auditors and respond to their queries.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Record transactions related to inventory, accruals, prepayments, and finance costs.

Position Requirements

  • Strong organisational, time management skills to be able to meet reporting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with others effectively to deliver quality work and high standard of customer service.
  • Has experience in use of financial reporting packages

Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
  • 2 years’ experience in managing full set of accounts.

If in the course of carrying out the duties of the role, the job holder identifies any instance that a child is suffering or likely to suffer significant harm either at school or at home, s/he must report any concerns to the School’s Designated Safeguarding Lead or to the Head of School or indeed to the Regional CEO or Safeguarding Manager - Asia so that a referral can be made accordingly to the statutory services.
