Position Objective
Overall responsibility of providing day-to-day accounting operational support and control in line with internal and external requirements.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full set of accounts for the company.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and accounting schedules.
- Handle intercompany billings and transactions.
- Process Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).
- Input and process daily bank transactions.
- Handle staff claims.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and intercompany confirmations.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Prepare and submit GST reports.
- Prepare schedules and reports for yearly audit and tax purposes.
- Liaise with auditors and respond to their queries.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Record transactions related to inventory, accruals, prepayments, and finance costs.
Position Requirements
- Strong organisational, time management skills to be able to meet reporting deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others effectively to deliver quality work and high standard of customer service.
- Has experience in use of financial reporting packages
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Accounting.
- 2 years’ experience in managing full set of accounts.
