Our Client:
Our client is one of the top global Japanese companies, manufacturing and supplying a wide variety of Industrial Equipment. They are looking for a Business Development Executive (Backend Operations) to join their Singapore Office. The successful applicant will handle all back-end operation tasks relating to Sales.
The Responsibilities:
- Manage product line up based on customers or market requirement
- Collect and analyze historical data using statistical tools to forecast demand for different products
- Place purchase orders with suppliers to replenish stock
- Minimize Out-of-stock by actively monitoring stock inventory
- Work closely with supplier to ensure profitability for stock items, propose strategies to reduce costs
- Work closely with supplier for timely delivery and expediate when necessary
- Maintenance or update product master database
- Work with other departments on product related activities such as product discount, quality check etc
- Collate statistics and generate reports
- Perform other related duties as assigned
The Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in any discipline, with 1-3 years relevant B2B industrial sales experience
- Experience in Stock Management
- Possess high energy and result oriented
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Good time management skills and team player
- Competent in MS Office, MS Access skills are required
- Able to understand basic technical term in product drawing
