I. JOB DESCRIPTIONS
A. Monitoring Market Risk
1. Prepare Mark to Market Report and Value at Risk for all products.
2. Mark to Market Report includes all the trades hold by company, which is physical products, futures, options, spreads, etc.
3. Monitor collateral market values to ensure proper coverage.
4. Monitor and investigate high risk counterparties.
B. Monitoring Credit Risk
1. Review all the information of customer/supplier, and monitor if credit for those companies are within the limit.
2. Prepare the Form to apply for Credit in company, and monitor the credit risk and settlement risk.
3. Monitor accounts receivable to ensure any delinquent payments are investigated and followed up on.
4. Review collateral types and monitor to ensure proper coverage.
C. Monitoring Reporting
1. Prepare the monthly report for both Company Management and Shareholders.
2. Provide commentary on daily and monthly PnL movements.
3. Explain in detail to drivers to PnL moves by book and by product.
D. KYC and Contract drafting (Support)
1. Create contract following standard template for both trade and non-trade
2. Liaise with different departments and legal counsel for contract review to ensure proper terms (commercial, financial, and logistics) are documented in contract
3. Performing matching between contract with other documents (Confirmation email, System Input) following Contract Checklist
4. Issue Contract Addendum / Termination Letter when and where required
5. Ensure contract is appropriately signed and filed in the system and hard-copy filings
6. Maintain up-to-date contract inputs in internal database and system
7. Proceed KYC and AML process to onboard new counterparties using applicable tools and systems
8. Register and maintain counterparties record in internal database and system
9. Liaise with different stakeholders (Traders, Legal Counsel) during the KYC check
E. Others
1. Any other tasks as assigned by management / the company.
II. REQUIREMENTS
A. Knowledge
1. General knowledge of Forward Curve, Options, Positioning in the Financial markets
2. General knowledge on financial terms
3. General understanding of logistics i.e., INCOTERMS, UCP600
4. Good understanding of Micro/Macro economics
B. SKILLS
1. Ability to keep up to date of latest world news
2. Ability to provide insights / views on Micro/Macro
3. Credible communication and presentation skills (At least Senior Consultant Level)
4. Good team player, driven, proactive, and mature working attitude
5. Adaptive to changes
6. Able to work independently, under tight timelines and pressure
7. Ability to organise and prioritize work with minimum supervision
