Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new business accounts and maintain strong relationship with new and existing key clients for assigned verticals and customer segments
- Develop and grow company’s products and services to achieve sales Key Performance Indicators throughout the year
- Selling the Company’s suite of logistics and freight forwarding services including:
- Ocean and Air Import
- Ocean and Air Export
- Distribution and Warehousing
- LTL Transportation
- Cargo Insurance
- Customs Brokerage
4. Soliciting potential clients (sales leads) to establish rapport and arrange meetings including:
- Cold calling
- Scheduling of said meetings
- Meeting customers within your territory
- Issuing quotations and preparing bids to secure sales with customers
- Preparing and leading formal presentations for prospective customers, demonstrating services offered
5. Handle and follow up with all sales queries from customers and sales leads, including:
- Preparing sales proposals, tenders, requests for quotations
- Rate negotiation with agents/vendors
- Accurate recording of sales and quotation details
- Following up on severely delinquent customers, assisting the finance department with minimizing overdue accounts receivable balances from clients
6. Oversee all new business throughout the sales cycle including on-boarding, implementation, coordination, after-action reviews and profit variance analysis
Job Requirements:
- Min. Diploma in relevant course of studies
- Min. 2 years of relevant experiences in freight fowarding/logistics industry
- Possess good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
