Job Description
- Conduct routine safety checks across subsidiaries and advise section heads on corrective actions if needed.
- Notify managers of any machinery or processes posing injury risks and recommend solutions.
- Promote safe working conditions through education, training, drills, and awareness campaigns.
- Serve as fire and hazmat leader, conduct fire safety training as needed.
- Approve permits and assess confined spaces and working at heights.
- Assist in overseeing daily inspections of plant facilities.
- Help with document preparation and management.
- Execute safety promotions and manage compliance updates.
- Undertake other duties assigned by the section head.
Requirement
- Minimum WSH Level C or Degree in WSH.
- Certified Confined space assessor and Work at Height assessor.
- Minimum 2 years Safety experience in utility/ manufacturing/ logistic industry/ marine industries only.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Be a part of the CERT team and be actively involved in emergency responses whenever called upon.
