The Role:
- Service and maintain refrigeration and gas compression systems.
- Overhaul screw and reciprocating compressors.
- Perform on-site commissioning of systems.
- Supervise and oversee installation and construction work.
The Requirements:
Diploma or equivalent certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Previous experience in servicing and maintaining refrigeration and gas compression systems.
- Proven track record in overhauling screw and reciprocating compressors.
- Experience in supervising installation and construction projects.
- Familiar with one or more of the following areas:
- Cold storage and food processing facilities.
- Refrigeration and gas compression systems.
- Oil, gas, chemical, or industrial refrigeration, or HVAC business.
- Rotating equipment and industrial compressors.
- Heat exchangers and pressure vessels.
- Instrumentation and valves.
- Control panels, control logic, and the sequence of refrigeration systems or rotating machinery.
- Compliance with ASME, ASHRAE, and API codes.
