Job Purpose:
- The Role of Business Analyst is work with various stakeholders across Divisions, develop and maintain strong working relationships with Business and Functional Leaders to understand their business drivers and work with end user/process owners to gather and document business requirements, deliver/promote solutions and resolve implementation issues as appropriate with the IT Team.
- Managing multiple projects across different functions for geographically diverse environments.
- Experienced in running IT projects from a strategy, technology, security, process, finance, and people management standpoint.
- Apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to optimise the benefits of enterprise IT system investments.
Responsibilities:
- Working with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document business requirements
- Working with our IT Team to ensure clarity on business requirements, business context, and agreement on acceptance criteria
- Assisting with the implementation of technology solutions
- Manage the documentation review and approval process with the business
- Modelling business processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements of existing systems and processes to support the business
- Work with application vendors and partners to define project scope and deliverables that support business objectives
- Participate in project application development and identify potential risks, scope, cost and communicate development status updates, ensure overall project quality and timeliness of project deliverables
- Participate in and contribute effectively to departmental planning and strategy processes
- Support efforts throughout the entire Software Development Lifecycle [SDLC], and participate in training, documentation, and knowledge transfer activities included in Change Management.
- Undertake any other activities as required by the Group
Qualifications:
Diploma / Degree in Computer Science
Experience:
5+ years’ experience in a prior business analyst role or similar, with relevant tertiary qualifications highly favourable
Competency:
- Must have experience in ERP projects
- Must have experience in Change Management
- Experience in Sales and Marketing cycle management
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Critical thinking skills – asking the right questions and getting to the root of the problem
- Developed problem-solving skills
- User flow or process mapping skills
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Experience in Infor M3 and/or MS Dynamics AX will be an advantage
