Storekeeper/ Purchaser works closely with the Maintenance team to identify, source for and purchase parts/ material for maintenance/ overhaul/ fabrication purposes.
Storekeeper/ Purchaser also maintains the inventory and store, including keeping a suitable level of inventory of equipment parts for maintenance purpose.
Work generally comprises the following:
- Supporting the Maintenance team in identifying, sourcing for and purchasing required parts/ material;
- Maintaining the inventory and store;
- Creating and maintaining clear documentation of equipment parts, including sketching of parts, part dimensions and the like;
- Assisting the Maintenance team in their work;
- Taking delivery of, verifying and documenting purchased parts/ material;
- Liaising with suppliers regarding required inspection/ certification services for lifting equipment;
- Other related works to support the company.
This role requires familiarity with hardware parts and materials.
Class 3 driving license, forklift license, familiarity with AutoCAD drawing preferred.
