Role and Responsibilities:
- Front the end-to-end IT procurement activities for project/s to ensure compliance with the procurement rules, which include but not limited to preparation of tender specifications, participation of tender evaluation and awarding of contract
- Partner the Project Managers, Finance, Procurement, Legal and Contract Management departments on procurement matters
- Review or prepare procurement requests and facilitate the seeking of approvals from relevant Approval Authorities on budget and procurement
- Responsible for the contract oversight and conduct contract administration
- Drive procurement activities to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Order (PO)s and related follow-up
- Lead process improvements for greater efficiency; and Support program/project audits
- Advise and guide junior members of the team on the day-to-day activities; and
- Perform meeting secretariat role when required.
Requirements:
- Self-motivated, driven, a good team player and strong ability to multi-task;
- Effective information-gathering, through meeting facilitation, one-on-one interactions and/or observations;
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision;
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills;
- Experience with large scale IT project procurement will be an advantage; and Minimum 5 to 8 years of direct and relevant full-time working experience in a similar role; and
- Experiences in Government procurement process is a plus, but not required.
