Responsibilities
- Manage and responsible for 12 chiller plants in NTU.
- Ensure all the plants’ system efficiencies are in compliance to the contract requirement.
- Manage and be responsible for maintaining facilities to achieve high reliability, availability, and operational requirement for ACMV system.
- Capability to re-solve operation issues for ACMV system as well as other operating spaces like laboratory, clean room, etc.
- Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences.
- Facilities coordination for Annual Electrical Shutdown.
- Participate with commissioning and handover, including defects identification and troubleshooting of power tripping
- Manage and monitor performance of engineering staff and specialist sub-contractors, ensuring completion of electrical and Mechanical related tasks in accordance with specification and drawings.
- Ensure appropriate quality and workmanship.
- Ensure that safety standards are understood, implemented and maintained by all team members and contractors.
- Undertake inspections on site to ensure compliance with client requirements and specification.
- Lead for Green Mark assessment and necessary energy initiatives, pliot study, report submissions, etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field with minimum 5 years of experience or
- Diploma in Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience in facilities management or M&E related firms.
- Possess good knowledge on ACMV system,
- Experiences in M&E systems are applicable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, excellent analytical ability
- Ability to plan and organize one’s work in-order to meet target set
- Ability to lead the team and self-motivated.
