Job Description:
- Responsible for translating patients’ medical diagnoses, operations and procedures into codes, using the International coding classification system which records patients’ health care data.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness and timeliness of coding and be responsible for own workload.
Job Requirements:
- Recognised Diploma or Degree in Nursing/Paramedical/Health Science
- Must possess knowledge of human anatomy
- Clinical experience in an acute ward setting or related field
- Able to perform precise and detailed work
- Being knowledgeable in ICD classification systems is an advantage
- Proficient in Excel and basic statistical skill
- Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in a team
