Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, servicing and maintaining machinery, equipment, and systems both mechanically and electrically.
• Responsible for ensuring machinery and equipment runs smoothly and reliably.
• Ability to perform preventive and predictive technical preventive maintenance is necessary.
• Maintain a proper machinery asset register to keep track of asset holdings.
• To monitor and control maintenance costs, track the costs of labor, supplies, and equipment repairs.
• Ensure unplanned problems, breakdowns and emergencies are dealt with immediately and their root causes are determined.
• Works to maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed; completes tasks in a timely manner.
• Liaise with OEM, external vendor, operation executives on equipment repair status.
• Adhere to QEHS compliance.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Preferably hold a Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience is a must
• Must have class 3 driving license
• Preferably able to read and understand electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings
• Highly self-motivated, good working attitude with high level of professionalism & integrity
• Well-versed in MS offices tools i.e. Words, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong planning, organizational and supervision skills
