The Role
In this role, one of your main responsibilities is to plan and execute Advertising and Promotional (A&P) activities for the shopping mall including VivoCity Singapore, Alexandra Retail Centre and Mapletree Business City. This includes the development of key marketing messages, content and creative works for the mall's events and campaigns.
You will also liaise with advertising and media agencies to create awareness for the mall's activities through both traditional and online media, as well as leveraging on the mall's website and social media platform for optimal outreach to the target audience. In addition, you will work closely with tenants to develop collaborative promotions and offerings, to enhance customer experience through the mall's activities to drive traffic and increase tenants' sales.
As part of the marketing communications team, there will also be other roles and responsibilities that you will be required to undertake when requested by your line managers either on a temporary or permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities
1. Conceptualize, plan and execute marketing campaigns, advertising and promotional strategies
To develop promotional plan and adhere to documentation and approval process to ensure successful roll out of campaign
To ensure adherence of Brand Identity Guidelines during creative implementation
To liaise with advertising agencies, tenants, contractors and event companies to ensure successful launch of campaigns and events
To develop strategic partnerships with external parties where appropriate to enhance and strengthen the mall's campaigns and activities
Ensure timely delivery of all marketing components, including but not limited to creative artworks, production, installation and dismantling timelines of campaigns and activations
To implement effective outreach for campaigns and events via traditional, digital and social media
To prepare post-campaign reports based on data and statistics analysis, measure the effectiveness of the campaign, and to make recommendations to improve marketing strategies
2. Tenant relations and liaison
Build and maintain good relationships with tenants, to better garner their support for the mall's campaigns and activities
Ensure timely response and practice reasonable support to tenants and their teams for Advertising and Promotions needs, or where and when applicable
3. Process & Compliance
Prepare and maintain campaign timeline for effective monitoring of campaign development
Ensure that all approvals and documentation complies with internal audit
4. Other Marketing Communications roles
To manage and ensure updated information on mall's website, e-directories, in-mall signages, social media or external sites where and when applicable
To conduct market research on competitors and trends
To undertake any other roles and projects when requested by line managers either on a temporary or permanent basis
5. Teamwork
To collaborate and cooperate within teams in the Marketing Communications department, as well as inter-departments within the Management office
Job Requirements
- You should possess a Degree in Marketing, Mass Communications with at least 2 years' relevant experience in the shopping mall / retail industry
- You should be a team player, creative, meticulous and possess excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication/presentation skills
- You should be highly motivated, possess pro-activeness and desire for more knowledge with a positive attitude
- It is essential that you should have the ability to multi-task and to work independently in a fast-pace environment with minimal supervision
