Responsibilities
- Report to the Head Event Executive.
- Ensure the operations, maintenance, servicing, repairs, and inspection of Audio-Visual and Control Systems to all equipment in TP and any other equipment which are required from time to time.
- Undertake to execute the Monthly and Regular Servicing, Maintenance, Repair, and Inspection of Audio-Visual and Control Systems
- Attend to user’s requests and complaints via established Computerized Management Systems.
- Monitor and ensure that all the faults reported in CMMS and attended to and followed up.
- Ensure the AV Technicians attend to breakdowns & emergency repairs to all the Audio-Visual and Control Systems
- Verify the asset list of Audio-Visual and control systems in every room and update the list accordingly.
- Set up and test audio-visual equipment, including sound systems, projectors, screens, and lighting.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues during events.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of audio-visual components.
- Track all expenditures and provide financial reports to superiors.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
- Create detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics.
- Assist in set-up, control, operate, attend to feedback, and troubleshooting on all Audio-Visual systems, sound systems, and stage lighting as required for any functions, events, training, etc.
- Provide technical advice and operational support to users for both internal/external events.
- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces.
- Manage on-site event staff and vendors.
- Ensure a smooth flow of activities during the event.
- Address any last-minute changes or emergencies.
- Provide clients with regular updates and ensure their needs and expectations are met.
- Gather feedback from clients and attendees to assess the success of events.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes in future events.
- Ensure all equipment are checked regularly and coordinate specialized servicing.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Head Event Executive, SZM and/or SFM.
Requirements
- Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Event Management, Hospitality, Mass Communication, Marketing or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in events management.
- Good knowledge of various AV systems and Performance support equipment.
- Good PC skills and fully competent in MS Office Software.
- Willing to work long hours and on weekends during event execution.
- Preferably with experience in handling lighting console (GrandMa2), audio mixer (Yamaha Audio Consoles) and audio-visual automation controls (Crestron Control)
