Job Description
Conduct and manage calibration and preventive maintenance for equipment assets to ensure on-time completion. Prepare for and assist in audit activities. Generate trends, non-conformances, temporary changes and change plans. Set goals and aligh metrics to business strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute work on behalf of the client team, lead a team of calibration technicians for preventive maintenance.
- Oversee, perform and document calibration and preventive maintenance procedures needed to result in equipment that are in good working condition, in accordance with corporate policies and in compliance with standards.
- Work with vendors to conduct repairs, perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment.
- Generate trending of on-time and past-due preventive maintenance and calibrations. Communicate and report quality performance data. Provide input into preventive action plans in setting goals and alighment metrics to business strategies.
- Control storage and preservation of in-house calibration standards so that the accuracy and fitness for use are maintained. Ensure calibration procedures and forms are current and up-to-date, revising when necessary. Prepare for and assist in both external and internal audit activities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering or related disciplines with at least 10 years' hands-on experience in various types of process instrument calibration plus, preferably, another 2 to 5 years in quality assurance/engineering.
- Must be able to lead and perform calibration of various transmitters, e.g., pressure transmitter, flow transmitter, temperature transmitter, level transmitter, humidity sensor and analyzer.
- Strong knowledge in quality management systems.
- Able to work and communicate effectively with a wide range of co-workers in a cooperative manner.
- Able to plan and manage time well, attentive to details, possesses initiative, and work with minimum supervision.
