Assistant Business Development Manager (West Area/Educational Sales)

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Provide ongoing training and development to enhance the team's sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to ensure individual and team success.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales collateral to support sales efforts.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with potential clients, including corporations, educational institutions, and individuals.
  • Conduct market research and prospecting activities to generate leads and opportunities for new business.
  • Participate in networking events, industry conferences, and other activities to build a strong pipeline of prospects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to ensure seamless delivery of training programs and services.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue, conversion rates, and pipeline growth, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to optimize sales effectiveness and efficiency.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in the Adult Education Industry and familiarity with Government initiatives such as Career Conversion Programmes and Job Redesign projects is a plus
