Our Client is a purveyor of luxury home furnishings and accessories in Singapore, with an international array of home furnishing products from Italian furniture to German kitchens and Scandinavian furnishings to Spanish lightings, is looking for Account Assistant (AR) to join their team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle general accounting (AR)
- Prepare remittances,GIRO, cheques, and journals for all payments
- Recording and posting transactions, inter-company charging in appropriate journals
- Reconcile statement of account for suppliers
- Handle all Accounts Receivable duties
- Prepare Project Progress Claim
- Update Sales Data
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma or degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Minimum 1 Year of working experience in the related field
- Self-driven and independent with a strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office especially Excel
- Knowledge in SAP Business One is advantageous
