Job responsibilities:
- Liaise with project team on material specification.
- Material sourcing, price negotiation and order fulfilment.
- Preparation and execution of purchase requisition.
- Arrange timely delivery of material.
- Manage material / inventory level at sites and ensure the target level is met but not overstock.
- Manage the Company’s material, assets and equipment / machinery rental at sites and ensure within budget.
- Perform cost analysis and generate reports.
- Meet subcontractors and suppliers onsite as necessary.
- Manage equipment and/or machinery rental.
- Perform receptionist duties, including attend to incoming calls and facsimiles, receiving and serving visits, handling of mails
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level
- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in purchasing / procurement.
- A good team player with ability to meet tight deadlines.
