Executive, Marketing & Operations

The Marketing and Operations Executive is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events at a designated venue. This role involves working closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure events run smoothly and meet the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.


Key Responsibilities:


Marketing and Promotion

  • Assist in promoting venue and events through various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, and print materials.


Event Planning and Coordination

  • Communicate with clients to understand their event requirements and objectives.
  • Support in developing detailed event plans, including but not limited to timelines, manpower, and logistics.
  • Coordinate with all vendors, suppliers, and service providers to secure necessary resources and services.

Venue Booking Management

  • Coordinate facility bookings where required and ensuring all bookings align with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Deployment schedule of venue booking officers.

Client Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, providing customer service and support.
  • Conduct site visits and walk-throughs with clients to discuss event layout, logistics, restrictions, if any.
  • Ensure all client needs and expectations are met throughout the planning and execution phases.

Other Duties

  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the reporting officer or the General Manager / Board of Directors.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Diploma in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field will be preferred.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, preferably in a venue setting.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by event schedules.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality events.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
  • Experience in the sports or entertainment industry.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to develop unique event concepts and themes.
