Role and responsibilities:
- Business development activities of our product lines in Singapore, Malaysia and assigned territory.
- Reporting directly to the VP to expand business beyond the current customer base and geography.
- Occasional travel within the Asia Pacific region on short notice may be required.
- Be responsible for the sales and profit target of local market.
- Work closely with and manage business partner(s) to drive and achieve short-term and long-term business goals.
- Develop & execute sales and marketing strategies to meet company’s goals short-term and long-term strategic goals.
- Provide excellent customer and account management support.
- Manage all sales and business development activities including organising and participating in customer events and marketing campaigns.
- Regular market intelligence & competitors’ activities.
- Prepare and submit quotations and tender documents.
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in any discipline.
- Dynamic individual with a strong will to succeed.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years sales and business development experience.
- Preference will be given to those with good knowledge and experience either on clinical laboratory or scientific/industrial laboratory software applications industry.
- Experience in working and managing business partner(s).
- Those with experience and familiar with consultative and solution selling skills would be a strong plus.
- Ability to work independently, highly self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Resourceful and adaptable in a highly dynamic and challenging environment.
- Strategic, analytical and organised individual.
- Strong communication and interpersonal (EQ) skills in dealing with internal and external customers.
