Job Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, test, and implement custom SAP ABAP applications, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and design documents.
• Develop and maintain high-quality code that meets coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including debugging and optimizing SAP ABAP code.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and end-users.
• Stay current with SAP technologies and industry trends, continuously improving the SAP development environment and processes.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Consultant.
• Strong understanding of SAP ABAP programming language, including data dictionary objects, reports, module pool programming, BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancements.
• Experience with SAP ABAP integration with other SAP modules, such as FI/CO, MM, SD, and HR.
• Proficiency in developing and optimizing ABAP code, including performance tuning and debugging.
• Knowledge of SAP best practices and experience with SAP ASAP methodology.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
