Job Description & Requirements :
The role of Senior Audit Associate is to plan and execute risk-based external audits for the business, as part of the company’s statutory annual audit engagements. The Senior Audit Associate is reporting to an Audit Manager and/or Audit Partners which will conduct company annual audits from planning through to completion. Tasks will include planning the audit process, research, reviewing current processes and providing recommendations to enhance company policies and procedures.

The main role of Senior Audit Associate is responsible for the audit team and will supervise, motivate and develop the team of junior audit staff. This role is required to review the work of junior personnel, as well as developing their skills and providing training and support throughout the audit engagement.

Job Description :

1. Conduct full range of audit for SMEs from various industries;

2. Support the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignment;

3. Prepare financial statements and communicate findings;

4. Monitoring the engagement progress ensuring deadline is met;

5. Coach and train juniors to work independently;

6. Develop and maintain productive working relationship with the clients; and

7. Take ownership for delivery of high-quality audit work.

Requirement :

1. Minimum 2 to 3 years of audit or relevant work experience;

2. Candidates must possess at least a Degree or professional qualification in related field;

3. Familiar with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing;

4. Familiar with Microsoft Words and Excel;

5. Willing to learn new system;

6. Is focused, can work on a fast-paced environment, and can handle work under pressure;

7. Well organized and has a mature mindset;

8. Is dynamic and independent at work;

9. Excellent project management skills, experience in supervising, planning, execution, and reporting on audit of financial statements prepared in accordance with SFRS requirements;

10. Advanced written and verbal communications skills; and

11. Dedication to teamwork and leadership.
