Overall Purpose of the Role

To organise and manage the contract in accordance with the standards required by Compass Group and the client. To be responsible for providing great quality services to meet client expectations. Responsible for the management, development and training of all team members. To ensure the contract is compliant and run commercially in line with net growth and retention targets. To bring the Compass Group Vision & Values to life and support and promote Our Safety Culture.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations Shipyard
  • Responsible for efficient management of accommodation modules fit out.
  • Appoint and manage subcontractor services for maintenance in conjunction with Ship owner.
  • Ensuring SORA audits are carried out in accordance with audit schedule and ensuring findings / non-conformances properly managed, are well communicated and are closed within the specified time periods as required.
  • Liaison with contractors and local client representatives.
  • Lead the implementation of, and ensure compliance with, all people, safety, technical, operating and business systems, behaviours, and culture.
  • Prepare and place orders for CAPEX items for new vessels.
  • Prepare pre trip AQUIS standard for delivery to Australian Waters

Implement and prepare accommodation services to CGA standards for Australian



Skills and Experience Essential:

· In depth understanding of Occupational Health, Safety and Environment and ability to apply principles.

· Single site operational experience in a similar role within the industry

· Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage a budget

· Ability to form productive relationships with clients and individuals from diverse backgrounds

· Proven experience in managing successful teams

· Working knowledge of workplace regulations, including award & agreement requirements

· Ability to identify contract retention and new business opportunities

· ability to use IT systems to maintain efficient operations

· Thorough comprehension of Food Hygiene practices

· BOSIET, TBOSIET or further training

· MSIC
