Job Description
- Review design of civil and structures [elevated station/structure – RC and Steel structures];
- Design coordination for civil and structures [elevated station/structure];
- Preparation and systematic documentation of engineering design;
- Coordination with construction team and subcontractor for accurate translation of design to drawings;
- BIM modelling and design management.
- Reporting to Principal Engineer / Director / Qualified Persons.
- Carry out Structural design to support construction team when necessary.
- Carry out reinforced concrete design for elevated station.
- Carry out reinforced steel roof design for elevated station.
- Lead and coordinate with draftsman for civil and structural detailing and shop drawing preparation.
- Liaise with QPD and AC on the review and approval of design calculations and drawings.
- Propose practical solution to contractors to overcome different types of site and viaduct construction matters related to construction.
- Attending coordination and technical meetings with clients, consultant engineers and contractors independently.
- Liaise with clients and authorities for projected related matters and requirements.
- Assure technical integrity of design.
- Liaise with technical director and local authorities.
Requirement:
- Minimum 10 years of engineering experience with Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or qualification acceptable to the Commissioner of Building Control as eligible for application as a Resident Engineer or Recognized Degree in the relevant field subject to the acceptance of the Engineer, and at least 5 years of experience in the construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in design for Design and Build’s project for LTA.
- Familiar with Singapore local authority and agencies requirements.
- Familiar with detail shop drawing preparation and liaising with consultants, QPS and sub-contractor to assist construction team.
- Familiar with station or building design and execution including shoring systems and erection methods.
- Experience in coordination with Archi and M&E team will be in advantage.
