Title: Chinese Pastry Chef
Location: Chinatown, Singapore
Salary: SGD 2,500 to SGD 3,000, depending on experience and skills
Type: Full-Time
Working Hours: 6 days per week
About the Role:
A restaurant located in Chinatown is seeking a skilled Chinese Pastry Chef who is passionate about crafting both traditional and modern Chinese pastries. If you have relevant culinary experience and are eager to showcase your skills in making Chinese pastries such as mooncakes, buns, and mantou, we would love to have you on our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pastry Production: Prepare and present a variety of Chinese pastries including mooncakes, buns, and mantou.
- Quality Maintenance: Maintain high standards of food production and quality.
- Kitchen Assistance: Help maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards alongside the kitchen team.
Qualifications:
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Chinese pastry cooking.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A deep understanding of and passion for Chinese culinary culture.
