Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Human Resource (HR) Teacher to join our faculty team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, labor laws, organizational behavior, and talent management. This role involves teaching courses, developing curriculum, and mentoring students, with a focus on part-time flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach: Deliver engaging and effective HR courses that cover a broad range of topics including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and HR technology.
- Curriculum Development: Design, revise, and update course content to reflect current trends and best practices in human resources.
- Student Engagement: Foster a supportive and interactive learning environment. Provide guidance and support to students, encouraging their professional development.
- Assessment: Evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and other assessments. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Collaboration: Work with colleagues to enhance the HR program and contribute to department initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Teaching experience, preferably at the college or university level.
- Professional experience in human resources or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment law, and organizational behavior.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and learning.
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant HR certifications.
- Experience with online teaching platforms and digital learning tools.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver engaging course materials.
