Finance and HR Admin Manager, Asia

Our client is a French Headquartered global company, and a major supplier to the auto-ID and tag & label industries worldwide. They provide a comprehensive range of Thermal Transfer ribbons constantly updated to match current and future automatic identification applications, meeting and often exceeding market expectations.

Our client is looking to hire a Finance and HR Admin Manager, Asia to be based in Changi North, Singapore.


Overall Job Scope

The Finance and HR Admin Manager is responsible for managing both financial and administrative operations

within Asia. This role is integral to maintaining the financial health, administrative efficiency, and legal

compliance of the organization.


Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Oversees day-to-day finance and accounting functions to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Manages, Reviews and Leads month end closing process
  • Ensures timely submission of monthly and yearly financial reports to Head Office and Local Management.
  • Reviews all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate
  • Prepares annual financial accounts for audit and statutory reporting, manages the relationship with group local auditors and calculates annual estimated income tax for year-end closing.
  • Manages filing of quarterly Goods & Services Tax (GST) and annual returns to IRAS.
  • Monitors and analyses cash flows, Debt Management, setting up credit limit, credit terms, close monitoring of debt collections
  • Coordinates and assists the budgeting process by collaborating with department heads to establish and submits the annual budget.
  • Acts as a liaison with Head Office, auditors, tax agents, Company secretary and local authorities regarding finance, legal, insurance, tax or any other matters
  • Ensures compliance with accounting and tax standards and with international trade regulations, including import/export documentation and sanctions screening.

HR

  • Leads HR communications, including policy updates, training materials, and employee notices.
  • Manages HR procedures and systems pertaining to HR matters.
  • Creates and maintains P-files, policies, employee handbooks, and other HR documents.
  • Drafts employment contracts, employee manuals etc.
  • Manages the payroll process, submit CPF contributions, and handle yearly IR8A returns, tax clearances and ensure its accuracy.
  • Manages insurance enrollments and renewals.
  • Continuously reviews and enhances HR policies, programs, and practices to support business goals.
  • Ensures compliance with statutory requirements and prepares necessary reports as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Oversees office administration tasks, including supply management, facilities maintenance, and
  • coordination of office events.

Management

  • Activity Management: Manage KPI, have basic finance & business notions, Seek Improvements, Facilitate direct inter-actions between departments for quality service, Deliver expected results
  • People Management: Hire team members, manage staff, Welcome diversity in a positive manner, Beacquainted with company rules & policies
  • Leadership: Give meaning, develop skills of the team, Act with integrity & Trust, Assess team dynamic, Welcome change, Communicate efficiently

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, Accountancy, or related field.
  • 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in a similar role with supervisory responsibilities, preferably in Manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of FRS accounting and disclosure requirements
  • Good Knowledge of Singapore Employment Act
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and SAGE Payroll software
