Job Description
- Minimum Engineering or Electrical/Mechanical Diploma or relevant experience in AUTOCAD
- Familiar with AutoCAD drafting tools
- Be independent, self – motivated, able to work under pressure and deliver timely
- Preparation of production drawing
- Able to convert the drawings into programme files
- Develop and maintain CAD Drawings
- Coordinate with production supervisor for production schedule
- Handle any other ad-hoc duties and tasks assigned
- Quantity take-off and cost estimation (Architecture/ M&E / A&A)
- Preparation for tender submission and Assist to source for vendors and establish vendors list for the project as assigned.
- Assist to obtain market pricing from vendors (include labors, logistic and materials)
- Assist to prepare cost plan and cost report for project assigned for;
- Assist to prepare procurement strategy in line with management objective;
- Assist to prepare, compile, validate and administrate contract document for all vendors (contractors, suppliers, services providers, etc);
- Liaison with vendors for pricing, delivery, compliance of the products to the authority code, compatible of products for the project and payments;
- Assist to prepare monthly/ weekly QS report pertaining cost plan, vendors list, procurement plan, contract administration and project update as required;
- Conduct full QS services and contract administration for project cycles from pre-contract, post-contract and maintenance periods;
- Assist QS manager in negotiation with vendors to obtain the best pricing and values for the project;
- Assist QS manager in liaison with another internal department
Job Requirement
- itec/Diploma in Building Drafting/Engineering or equivalent certificate
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) is a must
- Able to communicate and coordinates with supervisor and other team member
- Minimum 2 year Work experience in A&A works/ Interior Design/ Renovation/ Fit-out Works
- Familiar with evaluation of tender, preparation of tender & quotation
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Possesses Integrity, initiative and drive;
- Team player with good hands on multi-tasking abilities;
- Promptly reporting to superior;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Resourceful and able to establish a network with local vendors;
- In-depth understanding of construction practice;
- Sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties with good working knowledge of conditions of contract and standard forms of measurements
- Able to use Microsoft program, AutoCAD, other QS program to perform the works.
