Job summary:
In this role, you will provide wide ranging legal advice in relation to the agency business of Prudential Singapore and/or Prudential Financial Advisers Singapore Pte Ltd, including but not limited to providing legal advice on agency agreements, collaterals, recruitment schemes, strategic agency projects and management of contentious agency related issues. You will report to the Head of Legal and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Job Description
- Provide legal advice on agency agreements, collaterals, recruitment schemes, strategic agency projects and management of contentious agency related issues.
- Provide support to the financial advisory arm of Prudential Singapore on agency related issues.
- Advise, review and draft a broad spectrum of commercial agreements related to the agency business.
- Advise on regulatory compliance and/or compliance issues related to the agency business.
- Management of contentious agency related issues.
Who we are looking for:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of PQE, attained preferably from a collage of private practice and in-house work.
- Experience in life insurance, general insurance, litigation, data privacy, investment management and employment matters.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive business friendly solutions and/or resolutions for PACS.
- Strong ability to take hard decisions and stand by the same.
- Able to work independently and have initiative.
Education
- LLB (Honours), minimum 5-7 years of PQE
