Responsbilities
· Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
· Ensure all construction activities are properly sequenced, considering site staging, utilization planning, procurement, and contract interfaces.
· Identify and mitigate risks, while recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities within the project.
· Take ownership of the Contractor’s Programme for the Works.
· Maintain and update the Contractor’s project management procedures and processes.
· Ensure all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company standards.
· Work closely with the construction management team to ensure alignment on project schedules and deliverables.
· Interface with various stakeholders including contractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
· Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on project status, highlighting any potential issues or delays.
· Proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
· Conduct regular risk assessments and update the project risk register as necessary.
· Ensure all planning and scheduling activities meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
· Implement and uphold best practices in project management and planning.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on site-based construction management.
· Proven experience in planning and managing complex construction projects using Primavera P6 software.
· Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, site staging, utilization planning, and procurement processes.
· Excellent understanding of construction contract interface management.
· Ability to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in project management software, particularly Primavera P6.
