As a Public Relations Manager, you will be an integral part of Oldendorff’s specialized Global Engagement and Sustainability Department. Your work will have a direct impact on protecting our company’s reputation and promoting its image
Essential Functions:
- Coordination and leading change implementation of our company’s website
- Manage our company’s social media accounts
- Reputation and brand management
- Targeted messaging to seafarers, prospectiveemployees, industry and media
- Draft press statements and website news articles
- Manage our company’s magazines (Waterline, Below the Waterline, Bulk Matters)
- Conduct quarterly interviews with crew members for Waterline
- Manage our company’s advertising activities
- Maintain and develop good relations with the media and trade press
- Manage our media library
- Work closely with our consultants (Art Department, Production Friends, etc.)
- Support all departments on corporate communications-related matters
- Strive for continued improvement in all areas
Skill Requirements:
- Prior work experience in this field is preferred
- Clear communication skills
- Maintaining a proactive approach
- Ability to work independently, while simultaneously showing a team player attitude
- Always ensuring a strong customer-focused &service-oriented mindset
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Additional language is beneficial, but notrequired
- Strong attention to detail
- Taking ownership and having a strong sense of responsibility towards work
- Being able to prioritize,show confidence to think outside the box and be creative
- Feeling comfortable to work in an international, fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and be flexible
