Opportunity to join a fast growing energy trading organization with international presence as Finance Manager.
The Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for the full spectrum of finance for two legal entities, Singapore and Japan. Your duties include liaising with the outsourced service provider, overseeing the monthly review of financial statements for the JV entity, preparing the annual budget, and managing the monthly financial consolidation. You will also liaise with external auditors and tax agents, manage banking relationships, and handle matters related to Letters of Credit, e-banking, and project financing.
Additionally, you will work closely with the CEO to support the review of project financial models and agreements.
Your Profile
As the successful candidate, you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in handling the full spectrum of finance and accounting, ideally within the power and/or energy sector
- Prior exposure in a Big Four tax firm
- Ability to read and write in Mandarin will be essential as you will support the CEO in the review of contract and agreements in Mandarin
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and/or prior exposure in a start up environment will be highly preferred
- Familiarity with Xero will be ideal but not a must
