Responsibilities:
Cash Management:
- Monitor and manage daily cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
- Ensure sufficient liquidity for daily operations and trading activities.
- Execute fund transfers and settlements in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare and review cash position reports.
Bank Relationships:
- Liaise with banks for operational matters, including account maintenance, transaction inquiries, and issue resolution.
- Maintain strong relationships with banking partners to facilitate smooth transactions.
Payment Processing:
- Handle all incoming and outgoing payments, including vendor payments, client receipts, and intercompany transfers.
- Verify payment instructions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Perform daily reconciliation of cash movements and bank accounts.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure dherence to regulatory requirements and company policies related to cash management.
- Prepare regular reports for management, including cash flow forecasts, liquidity reports, and variance analysis.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Treasury Support:
- Assist in the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures.
- Support treasury projects and initiatives aimed at optimizing cash management and improving operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, accounting, and trading, to ensure alignment and effective cash flow management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cash management, treasury operations, or a related role, preferably within the commodities trading industry.
- Strong understanding of cash management principles, banking operations, and payment processes.
- Proficiency in using treasury management systems and financial software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
